Features Changing Places Toilet Finder
This is not an app to find standard accessible (RADAR or disabled) toilets.
Changing Places are different to standard accessible (disabled) toilets.
There are over over 1300 changing places toilets in the UK.
This App is the first one to allow you to find the nearest facility to you or by searching a specific location and gives you information on how to get there, how to get in, and what facilities are there.Changing Places offer the facilities of a standard accessible toilet for disabled people but with extra space (7m² originally and now 12m²), an adult changing bench and a hoist (you will need to bring your own sling), which are essential for people who have a carer or profound and multiple learning disabilities or cannot reasonably use standard accessible toilets.There are also over 600 Changing Places U toilets and Space2Change toilets which are both very similar to standard accessible toilets for disabled people and which typically also have a hoist and an adult sized changing bench but do not comply with the full Changing Places standard, often due to limited space or having corner toilets.Our website at www.changingplacesmap.org has a similar toilet finding map, which is designed to include the enhanced functionality that is made practical when matched by the larger screens and greater processing power of a computer including multiple routes and extra search functions.This app replaces the first phone app ever for Changing Places, launched by us on August 2015.- Addition of four new languages, French, German, Italian and Spanish- Can see at a glance whether facilities are full specification or partial- A list of previous searches to help speed up regular searches- Option to start directions from wherever you want- Bug fixes

"This is not an official changing places app which I thought it was. Reason stopped at Gretna services at app stated they had changing places and could not find it and very distressed daughter. Asked a member of staff and said they don't have facility. Contacted Pamis/ changing places this app is not official and to use the official changing places website. This seems a scam app."
